Ho ho holy moly, it’s December 19th!

I’m telling you, this email is like a fresh-baked batch of oven-baked cookies. It’s so good you can print it out and leave it for Santa next to a glass of milk.

Quick holiday tip: There’s a new scam going around. Thieves steal unactivated gift cards, extract the code, and put them back in stores. If you buy one and load it up, the scammer is ready to activate the code and steal your money before you get a chance.

Talk about people who need grace 🙄. In today’s news:

Hey, did you catch that nasty business going down at a church in Gaza?
I heard something about it. Sounds quite dire for the folks seeking refuge.
Desperate is an understatement! Word is, an IDF sniper offed two women right inside the church grounds.
It’s a heartbreaking situation, to be sure. But we should also seek the full truth in this chaos.
Yeah. The IDF says no such casualties were reported when they chatted with church reps.
The Pope and UK officials are fuming, talking about protecting civilians and urging for peace.
And Layla Moran's got family trapped in there, saying they’re being targeted with no Hamas in sight.
We must pray for the situation, “God puts an end to war… the bow he breaks and the spear he snaps.” Peace is desperately needed.
Amen to that. The truth needs to come out, for the sake of all those innocents involved.
Indeed. The Bible teaches us to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. That's what we need there, too. (Micah 6:8)

Hey, did you hear about Jonathan Majors? Jury found him guilty of assault and harassment.
Whoa, really? That's heavy. What happened?
Involved a domestic dispute. He got convicted of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and harassment.
Isn't he the guy who played Kang in the Marvel movies?
Yeah, that's him. Marvel Studios is actually not moving forward with him because of this.
No way! So he won't be in the new "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty"?
Afraid not. They're cutting ties after the verdict. It's a big fall for Majors. He starred in "Quantumania" and "Loki."
That's so disappointing on many levels... I liked his work. But violence is never okay.
Absolutely, it's sad all around. His sentencing is next February. Could face jail time.
Has he said anything about it?
His lawyer says he's looking to clear his name. But he left the court silently when the verdict came.
It's tough. On one hand, I enjoyed him as an actor. On the other, actions have consequences.
True, it's a complex situation. We're reminded justice is important, and so is the healing for everyone affected.
Right, reminds me of Proverbs 21:15: "When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."
Exactly. It's about balance. Supporting the harmed and hoping the guilty find redemption.
Hard to see that sometimes, especially with someone you're a fan of. But yeah, justice and grace go hand in hand.
