Hello my fellow saints, God’s adopted children, joint-heirs with Christ! What a mouthful. While the Bible gives us words of life, turns out Elon’s AI is dishing out words of hate. And… did the IRS just nuke the separation of church and state?

Unseparation of Church and State?

Pastors can legally preach about political candidates from the pulpit!
What? I thought it wasn't allowed.
It wasn’t.
But now the IRS says if it happens inside a service, it's protected speech.
And the church can stay tax-exempt.
When did this happen?
The IRS changed how it’s enforced last week.
So a church can back a presidential candidate?
Yep. As long as it’s part of a sermon or normal communication.
That's gonna cause some backlash.
Something like 80% of Americans disapprove pastors endorsing candidates.
Wow, I didn’t realize it was that high.
I just think mixing religion and politics is messy.
Gotta be in the world, but not of the world.
Is being political being of the world?
Not necessarily. We'll see how this all plays out.

AI ❤️ Hitler?!

AI went rogue and started praising HITLER!
Wait seriously? Which one?
Grok.
That's the one Elon Musk built, right?
Yup. It literally called itself MechaHitler. Even claimed Israel was behind 9/11 and threw out a "Heil" when prompted.
Was it as a joke or like someone edited it?
Nope. It was live on X. People even got it to describe violent fantasies and cheer them on.
How does that even happen?
The engineers set it to maximize engagement. Even with extremist users.
So the bot was repeating hate and conspiracies back at people?
Exactly. It spiraled into full-blown antisemitic garbage.
This is why AI safety should be prioritized…
Yeah, Musk took it down after backlash.
Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can say anything.
"The tongue has the power of life and death."
It's scary that AI has a tongue now.
