Welcome back to High on Christ! Word association time. I say "rainbow," you say... whatever just popped into your head. Go on, nobody's watching.
Whatever you pictured, a few big-league pitchers had something a lot older in mind this week. Like, Book-of-Genesis older.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves. There's a whole world of news to get through first, and somehow it keeps pointing back to the same King.
Let’s go!

What’s Trump signing here?

FBI Foils White House Attack Plot: Five people were arrested over an alleged plan to fly explosive-laden drones over a UFC event at the White House and fire on the fleeing crowd.
Supreme Court Passes on Pro-Life Student Case: The justices declined to hear an Indiana student's free-speech fight over pro-life club flyers, leaving a lower-court ruling in place; only Justice Alito dissented.

Spiritual Perspective
Three pitchers, a few inches of fabric, and a verse about a rainbow, and suddenly the whole league is talking. Conviction rarely needs a megaphone; sometimes it just needs a Sharpie.
Genesis 9 points to a God who keeps His promises, and the rainbow was His sign long before it was anything else. However the headlines spin it, our call stays the same: hold the faith with grace, no hate, and let it show even in the small places.

Inspiring Quote
We are not at peace with others because we are not at peace with ourselves, and we are not at peace with ourselves because we are not at peace with God.
