Have you heard the latest on Kanye, calling himself the new Jesus? Wild stuff.
Yeah, that sounds pretty offensive. What's the context?
In his album "Vultures 1", uses some serious language and claims to be "the new Jesus". Makes my skin crawl.
That's troubling, especially considering his controversial past. Isn't he known for Christian-themed music too?
Right. Dude hosted "Sunday Services" and talked a lot about his faith. Now this? Talk about a 180.
It's confusing. To express faith and then mix it with such profanity and comparison to Christ...
Exactly. And he brings up figures like R. Kelly and Cosby in the mix. It's like a cocktail of chaos.
Christians must be upset. How should we respond to this, biblically?
With grace, but firm. Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths..."
That's a good guide. Also, pray for Kanye. Despite this, God's grace is sufficient. He can turn hearts.
Pray for him, indeed. That's the high road here. And maybe Kanye will find his way back.
True. Let's not forget, "For all have sinned..." Romans 3:23. We all need grace, Kanye included.

Check this: in a high school basketball game, Collegiate Charter forfeited to KIPP Academy.
What happened?
The coach stopped the game at halftime, down 31-14 with a handful of injured players.
Injuries? How serious?
Three girls down. Coach didn’t want to risk playoffs. The trans athlete? Over 6 feet with a beard.
Concerning. What about fairness in competition?
Right? MIAA lets students play based on gender identity, barring "unfair advantage". Seems murky here.
Speaking of unfair, did you hear about Meghan Cortez-Fields? Swimmer smashing women's records in NJ.
The name sounds familiar.
Was mediocre in men's, now setting records in women's. Title IX's getting trampled.
Title IX losing its purpose.
Yep. And then there’s this 90-year-old, Fran Itkoff. She volunteered for the MS Society for 60 years. She got canned.
Why?
She didn’t get the memo on pronouns. Asked a question, got the boot.
Sad. Asking should open dialogue, not end service.
So, where does this leave us?
As believers, we fight for the truth of God’s design while showing grace in understanding.
Amen. As told by Paul in Eph 4, we must speak the truth in love.
