The Bullets

  • Big Tech takes a hit: The stock market had a rough day. Tesla dropped about 14% and Google fell 7%, as investors got nervous about how much these companies are spending on AI. Oil above $100 didn't help.

  • A nuclear deal with strings: Trump says Saudi Arabia can only get a 30-year nuclear energy deal if it makes peace with Israel first. He says the deal blocks Saudi Arabia from making bomb-grade fuel, though some experts aren't so sure.

  • Caught on camera: A hidden-camera video caught a senior Navy official vowing to secretly undo Trump's policies, even the Pentagon's Christian prayer service. He got put on leave.

  • A tragedy and a fight: An illegal immigrant was charged with sexually assaulting and murdering a 2-year-old in Virginia. Homeland Security blames the governor's sanctuary policies; her office rejects that.

Elon Rages

So Elon Musk sat down with a reporter from The Economist and it got heated fast.
Heated how?
She called him far right. He shot back, "I support the normal people. What you call the far right, falsely."
Oof. To her face?
Then he named three things he wants: safe borders, safe cities, and careful spending.
Ok. What's his point?
He asked her which one of those is far right. Kind of dared her to pick.
Did she have an answer?
He didn't really wait. He straight up lectured her. Hold on, let me grab the exact quote
"I would like to just admonish you and the media for the absurd characterization of the far right. It is false and misleading and nonsense."
Dang. Sounds like a disappointed dad!

Spiritual Perspective

Everyone's rushing to label everyone else, and it's exhausting. God uses a different measure. He "looks on the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7), not the box we've been sorted into. Be quick to listen and slow to write people off, and remember your identity isn't left or right. It's whose you are.
