German police arrested a man accused of planning to attack a church in Bremen.
How far had he gotten?
Prosecutors say he already had a gun and had gone to check out the church.

They say he shared ISIS beliefs and wanted to form a group.
The plan was to attack people he saw as unbelievers. The church was his first target.
First target. That's chilling.
Did anyone agree to join him?
One person, according to prosecutors. They haven't identified that person yet.
When did all this start?
They trace the plan back to spring 2025. The arrest happened Thursday.
Over a year ago. Is he being kept in jail?
Yes. A judge ordered him held while the case continues.

Romans 12 begins with God’s mercy and calls believers to live in response to it. That includes hating evil, praying through hardship, and refusing revenge. Fear after a threat is real. We can pray for this church’s safety and for violent hearts to be changed by Christ.
