It’s Thursday morning, and my neighbors have FINALLY stopped launching fireworks! Sometimes I wonder why their lives are so boring that they’re launching illegal explosives halfway into July. Maybe they have no idea what’s going on since they’re not subscribed to this newsletter. But you are. What a champ.

Mass Firing
Bam. Trump’s about to dismantle the Department of Education.
Wait, how can they do that?
The Supreme Court gave him the power.
He can now fire over 1300 staff members.
That sounds extreme. How is this good for us?
The staff have done nothing but waste money.
But some of them manage student loans and special ed programs.
Isn’t that risky?
Student loans are a mess. The Treasury can do better.
It’s time to cut waste and give power back to states.
Local control is fine, but not every state protects poor and disabled kids.
I think federal oversight is needed there.
This means more freedom for parents to choose.
Sure, but Jesus taught us to care for the least among us, right?
I suppose that’s true.
It’s a balance cutting back on negligence while still caring for the less fortunate.
Exactly. We just need to protect those Jesus called the least of these.

Epstein Revelation Blocked
The Republicans just blocked a vote to release all the Epstein files.
Don’t those files reveal names of powerful individuals connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking network?
What bill was this?
It wasn’t a full bill.
Just an amendment to make the Department of Justice release everything.
Who proposed it?
Democrat Ro Khanna. Every Republican voted against it!
Why would they do that?
They said it was the wrong way to do it.
The Department of Justice claims there’s no client list.
But come on, Epstein had names as leverage!
I heard Epstein died in jail... conveniently as the cameras broke and the guards fell asleep.
Sketchy stuff.
Is there proof they’re hiding something?
Don’t know… that’s why we need the files.
This should be about justice for the victims.
Exactly. People on the left and right are calling for its release!
Well, we know: "For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest." Luke 8:17
