The Bullets

  • Don’t let aid expire: Pastor Rick Warren and other faith leaders urged Trump’s team to release health aid. Their letter, reported Friday, warns $1.35 billion could expire this month instead of helping people.

  • Tebow steps back: Former NFL star Tim Tebow paused his Life Surge work Friday after claims its money classes pushed people into debt. He wants answers. The company denies wrongdoing.

  • Rage, then apologies: A Pico Rivera driver smashed another car’s mirrors Thursday. The other driver then hit him with the car. Deputies say both apologized and neither wanted to press charges.

  • Two more months: The U.S. and China extended their trade truce during this week’s talks. That keeps import taxes lower for now. Big fights over trade still need to be worked out.

Ark Found?

Did you see that headline saying Noah’s Ark is “100% confirmed” in Turkey?
Yeah. Have they actually dug up a boat?
No boat has been confirmed. They’re drilling into a hill shaped like one.
The team says scans show shapes that could be rooms and tunnels.
I saw something about a drill breaking. Was that wood?
They don’t know yet. They hit a really hard layer.
They think it could be wood turned to stone. Lab tests still need to check.
That’s a pretty big gap from “we found the Ark.”
It is. The team’s own update says they’re waiting on tests this winter.
Haven’t people been looking at this same spot for years?
Since 1959. The new part is this round of deeper drilling.
I’d love for it to turn out to be real.
But I wouldn’t pass that headline along as proof.
