Crime is falling fast: Murders in big American cities dropped 18% in the first half of this year, heading toward a historic low. Carjackings fell 47%.
The AI got out. Again. Anthropic says a setup mistake let its Claude models break into three real companies' systems during safety testing. It found the problem while reviewing 141,000 test sessions.
Hackers hit the water supply: More than 30 Minnesota water systems were attacked at once. Hackers changed passwords, messed with water pressure and caused flooding. Some towns had to run their systems by hand.
Scouts drop DEI spaces: At a jamboree of 15,000 kids, Scouting America got rid of separate areas for gay scouts, girls and scouts of color. The Defense Secretary had pushed back, with the group's 100-year Pentagon ties on the line.

Spiritual Perspective
Standing firm cost her a career she'd built for nearly two decades, and there was no guarantee she'd ever get it back. That's what conviction actually costs. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake" (Matthew 5:10). Not every stand ends in a settlement. Take it anyway, and leave the results with God.
